Canadian Dr. Colleen Pawlychka Appointed to RJI’s Global Advisory Council


Today Restorative Justice International (RJI) announced the appointment of Dr. Colleen Pawlychka (Canada) to RJI’s

Global Advisory Council (GAC). Dr. Pawlychka is a criminologist and faculty member at Douglas College in British


“RJI is particularly pleased to add Dr. Pawlychka to the GAC because of her extensive experience in correctional

settings and her commitment to bringing restorative justice to those in prison, ” said Lisa Rea, president, Restorative

Justice International.  “Her commitment to expanding the use of in-prison restorative justice programs, utilizing the

voices of crime victims, is a public policy position strongly supported by RJI, ” she added.
